Common questions before you book

A few things guests most often want to check. For everything else, see our full FAQ page.

How big are the pitches, and can I choose where I stay?

Our pitches are spacious, and every one has an electric hook-up. The maximum unit length is 7.70m (7.70m to 8m can be arranged with reception), with up to six people per pitch. Many guests enjoy choosing their own spot, so do ask at reception when you arrive.

Is there WiFi at Woodlands, and what is the signal like?

Free basic WiFi is available across the whole site, but it can be slow at busy times and isn't guaranteed. During peak periods we'd ask you to be mindful of other users and keep the number of connected devices to a minimum. Phone signal can also vary, so it's worth planning for that if you need to stay connected.

Are the pitches level, or should I bring levelling ramps?

Some pitches sit on a gentle slope, so we recommend bringing levelling ramps. It's the thing guests most often mention, and a set of ramps or blocks makes setting up easy and comfortable. The pitches themselves are spacious, with plenty of room to settle in.

How do I book and when can I arrive?

You can book online through our booking page, and arrival is any time after 12 noon. If you'll be arriving after 6pm, please call us on 01263 823802 so we can check you in. Please vacate your pitch by 12 noon on your departure day. Any questions before you arrive, just give us a ring. We look forward to seeing you.

Is Woodlands dog friendly?

Yes, Woodlands is dog friendly, with signposted woodland walks straight into Sheringham Park on the doorstep. Dogs are £1 per night, per dog, up to a maximum of three per pitch. It's a comfortable spot for a break with your dog, with plenty of room to stretch their legs.

Can I buy a static caravan here?

Yes, we have privately owned static caravans for sale on site, both new and pre-owned, each on its own private plot. These are for sale only and are not available to rent. If you're considering a holiday home in an area of outstanding natural beauty, do get in touch on 01263 823802 to ask about current availability.
